The Gatherin app shows you what’s on around you today, lets you join in a few taps and talk to the other attendees before the event. If you’re the one organising, this is where your event comes together too.

Map
Everything around you at a glance: grouped when you zoom out, one by one when you zoom in, and you can see how far away each one is.
Event chat
Every event has its own chat where attendees and the organiser talk in one place. It closes by itself 24 hours after the event.
Moments
Attendees post photos from a finished event on their profile. The Gatheer can ask for them for its gallery; the photographer decides, and their name stays on the photo.

Pick what you like and join. Where the organiser reviews requests, you apply and they decide.

Do I need the app?
You can browse and join on the web. Creating events, chat and the organiser tools are in the app.
Does it cost anything?
Using Gatherin and joining events is free. Some events have an entry fee set by the organiser: you’ll see the price on the event page, along with where to buy a ticket.
Who sees where I am?
Nobody. Your location is only used to show nearby events; it is never shared with other users, and on the web we store it only coarsely, to about a kilometre.
What is a Gatheer?
A community with its own profile: someone who organises regularly. Follow them and you’ll see when the next one is on. There’s no membership and no approval: following is joining.
